The Set-up was written in 1982 for Mission of Burma, but never brought into the band.
Wounded World was written for the first Gulf War in Iraq.
All the words used for the lyrics in Grabbed Star are from the Signals Calls and Marches lyric sheet, using John Cage's "I Ching" method of aleatoric choice-making.
The main sound in Astronomy Engine is a sample of our touring Astro Van's engine starting (dropped two or more octaves so that sounds inaudible to the human ear come into the audible range).
